Universities should publish more information about course outcomes, but disclosure should help applicants ask better questions rather than manufacture a league table. A single employment percentage can conceal differences in region, subject and the kinds of work graduates seek.
Small courses create another problem: detailed tables may identify individuals. That risk is not a reason for silence. Institutions can combine several years, suppress tiny categories and explain where comparison becomes unreliable.
