TMUA or MAT?
For Oxford 2027 entry, take the TMUA.
MAT is no longer the Oxford test.
Oxford used the MAT from 2007 to 2025. Since the 2026 round, Mathematics, Computer Science and their joint-honours courses use the TMUA.

Mathematical Reasoning. No calculator in either paper.

Do I take the MAT or TMUA for Oxford in 2027 entry?
The TMUA. Oxford now uses it for Mathematics, Computer Science and their joint-honours courses.
When did Oxford replace the MAT?
Oxford says the MAT was used from 2007 to 2025. The TMUA replaced it from the 2026 admissions round onward.
Is TMUA the same test as MAT?
No. The TMUA is two 75-minute papers of 20 multiple-choice questions each.
